Saturday Walking

I finally got some time to just go out and take a long walk. I took the camera of course.

There is a park across the street. If you don’t like dogs, a sunny Saturday is not the time to walk in the park. No one pays any attention to the leash laws.

For the last couple of months the street I live on has been worked on. New water mains, new asphalt , new curbs. They have torn up a lot of the old sidewalks as well. I came across a stack next to the new side walk.

“If you weren’t so sick there would be nothing wrong with you.” I have heard that more then once from doctors. For many years I had a more or less chronic gut problem that would take me out for a couple of days at a time whenever it got active. They never did figure it out but it gradually got less and less and only flairs up once or twice a year now. No big deal.

In this post I wrote about a friend of mine with some scary symptoms and doctors fears. It turns out she does not have anything wrong that they can diagnose. In other words, if she wasn’t so sick there would be nothing wrong with her. Being that she still can’t walk very well, she is getting a second opinion. But I think considering what they thought might be going on, that this is good news. She is treating it like that.

Apparently another domain hosted on this server has been the subject of a DOS attack. Which explains all the times this site has been down. If it keeps up my host has offered to move me to another server. It sems to have been fine the last 48 hours or so, so I think I’ll hold of for now.
